Sunray
The Sunray has an extremely dynamic sound that is perfect for summer, even outdoors in the garden and on the terrace. The notes G, C, G, and C are raised (pitched), and it is rich in overtones. A beautiful companion to the Zaphir Sunray is the green Zaphir Crystalide (spring). For those who prefer a more balanced sound, we recommend pairing the yellow Sunray with the purple Sufi.

The Sufi, combined with the Sunray, produces an almost magical melody reminiscent of a magical forest. Take a moment to listen to the Zaphir sound samples. You can also play several together.

Bought the chimes as a gift for my daughter, it’s quite small but the sound it makes is lovely, gentle and calming. My daughter loves it. It will hang in the conservatory.

Beautiful sound from this chime, bought in memory of my mum. I found out about Koshi chimes at a Soundbath.

If you hold it near your ear you can hear and feel the resonance of the sound, even feel it where you're holding the string! I'm hoping to put it outside in a sheltered spot in the summer. Yes, they are expensive but they are not just 'windchimes', they are a musical instrument producing a resonant sound to have an effect on your body. I was surprised when it arrived from Germany! It's a bit fiddly to get the hanging disc out from where it's tucked behind the metal prongs inside, but maybe that's just me!

I've brought a twinkly extra touch of harmonic magic into my life with the Zaphir Sunray. My flat now speaks to me as I enter and leave the house with sensitive, warm and light tones, reminding me of the present moment, the beauty of things and music. As a musician this is a good thing. I put it out in the yard if it's not raining, as it's not very water resistant, but I guess the materials capture the sound best and make for a very reasonable price for such an awesome, simple and effective wind chime.
