The Koshi chime is an authentic musical instrument. An original creation of high quality. It is hand made in a famous workshop at the foot of the Pyrenean mountains in France.

Each chime is the result of meticulous craftsmanship where 8 chords are welded with silver into the metal plate at the base of the bamboo resonance tube.

Precise tuning creates a play of clear tones that is rich in overtones, of which the shorter chords successively dominate and become fundamentals, forming a circular tone range.

Move your Koshi gently holding it by its cord or suspend it and it will play with the wind carrying you away in an unexpected melody.
Either way, the astonishing relaxing sound may leave you in quiet wonder.

Each Koshi produces it's own sound influenced by the 4 elements with it's own timbre.

In the past, I have given these as beautiful gifts and they’ve always been appreciated by the recipients.
I recently attended a gathering where Koshi chimes were played and after hearing their clear, resonant tones, I decided to finally treat myself. Wow!!! Why did I wait so long!!! These chimes are just magical and so beautifully made. I also bought the gorgeous rotating beechwood stand. Everything has a wonderful quality and I know they will last for years to come.

I was given a Koshi wind chime as a gift some years ago and often use it when I’m teaching yoga. I recently ordered myself this set and I love every chime….they are all different in their sounds but complement each other beautifully. The stand is very nicely crafted too and when they’re all chiming together in the wind it’s quite magical.

These chimes are pure quality in make up and sound, and the hand made stand (which is far taller than expected) provides a lovely focal point when the chimes are not in use... these are an ideal addition to a yoga or meditation space, or equally flowing freely by an open window, cleansing the home with etheral sounds...
