Description

The Koshi chime is an authentic musical instrument. Fill your life with the sounds of bliss and abundance. An original creation of high quality. Koshi Chimes are hand made in a famous workshop at the foot of the Pyrenean mountains in France. Gaiachimes UK is authorised Koshi Chime Seller.

Each chime is the result of meticulous craftsmanship where 8 chords are welded with silver into the metal plate at the base of the bamboo resonance tube.

Precise tuning creates a play of clear tones that is rich in overtones, of which the shorter chords successively dominate and become fundamentals, forming a circular tone range.


Move your Koshi gently holding it by its cord or suspend it and it will play with the wind carrying you away in an unexpected melody. 
Either way, the astonishing relaxing sound may leave you in quiet wonder. 


Each Koshi produces it's own sound influenced by the 4 elements with it's own timbre.

    I first heard these chimes at a soundbath. They were so beautifully sounding, that I was compelled to buy them. I found this merchant by a Google search of the chimes, they offered the best price and so I placed the order for all 4 chimes. The order was dispatched the very next day and was delivered quickly. The chimes are just wonderfully magical, you can see and hear the quality workmanship, they sound rich and plush, in rounded smooth tones, very soothing and relaxing. I am really pleased with my purchase and highly recommend these chimes and merchant, go ahead and experience the magic, you won’t be disappointed!

    Many year's we've admired koshi chimes. To actually own them is a wonderful thing. They are so beautiful. Not only in appearance but with the mystic sound, definitely transports us in a space that's calm and happy. Absolutely love them. So happy to have them in the window's of the house.     Wow! The first time I heard Koshi chimes at a sound bath session, my ears and my mind were floating in sonic bliss! I was immediately smitten and I came across Gaiachimes on my search to acquire Koshi chimes for myself. From the time I purchased the set until delivery, everything was smooth plus they have the best price for the whole set compared to other online sellers. I was very pleased, original quality items in their original box. How beautiful they sound? Just pure bliss heaven, it just gets me everytime and I find myself relaxing and inhaling and exhaling and releasing all the tension naturally. Even my cat yawned 3 times in a row when I hovered 2 Koshi times over and around him. Everyone I play them to are absolutely fascinated and mesmerised, the purity of sound, it's quite magical and ethereal. For me, the best chimes around and I, whole heartedly recommend!!!!

    I had listened to various recordings of the chimes, but nothing prepared me for how beautiful the sounds are. My only gripe is that they're tuned to 440hz, however, the sound is so beautiful that it doesn't matter too much. They are impossible to play badly, straight from the box. They arrived quickly, well packaged and were a bargain price - what's not to love?

    My husband bought me a set of 4 for my very recent birthday and they are perfect in every way. I've begun to use them at the end of my yoga sessions and everyone has been amazed by them.     The chimes have a wonderful sound. They are tuned 432hz so play with my crystal bowls beautifully. I have put a coloured ribbon on the top to identify each chime as it’s quite hard when you are playing to see the coloured dot on the name. The product came from Europe and I am in the UK so they took a few days to get here but not more than is reasonable. Very happy.

    There where no assembly instructions for the stand, but it's so well made you don't need them. Extremely well thought out just requires some logic. I host sound baths and was looking for a new toy. These are incredible, as soon as you hear them they make you sigh with happiness and smile.

    Bought the set and generally pleased. I would dearly like to give 5* but did think they are a bit pricey hence 3* for value. They look organic but what would enhence the quality is to use cotton/silk twine instead of the black synthetic I guess it’s stronger? During manufacturing someone has been heavy with the glue… I’ll live with it. I have kept two and will gift the others. The tones are beautiful worth the expensive if you don’t mind.

    I fist got to know about these chimes on a yoga retreat. The sound they produce can be mesmerising and very beautiful. They are high quality make but mine are not outdoors and I wouldn't put them there because I think the elements would eventually wear them down. In the UK anyway. Postage wasn't super quick but these were the cheapest I found selling in the UK for the set.

    I have individual chimes outside in different areas of my Farm and property, whilst protected from the worst elements they are somewhere where they will catch the shifting winds. These chimes make the most beautiful sounds, magical, dreamlike, ethereal! Farm animals radiate towards the sounds and it’s lovely when working outside on a sunny day to be accompanied by these haunting, subtle but beautiful melodies. It took a while for them to arrive however, is probably due to the situation at the moment and know that Gaia Chimes had to wait for them to come into stock. When I contacted customer services to enquire on delivery they responded very quickly and were really lovely and apologetic for the wait.     Purchased the whole set after hearing the sounds on computer. Must admit I am slightly disappointed as you need a really strong breeze to hear the sound and then it is nothing like what I heard on the internet to be truthful. Nice soothing sound but not really what I expected - expected more!

    Very nice construction, flawless in appearance. Lovely sound but not very loud. Put in location close so you will be able to hear them. Not as loud as metal Woodstock chimes.

    I first heard the chimes in a sound bath and new I had to get one. Then I found Gaiachimes on line. They had the set of 4 Koshi chimes which was exactly what I was looking for. I ordered the whole set. The service was great they shipped out in 2 days. I was very happy with reviving them so quickly. I have incorporated them in my sound baths now which people love!
