In 2001 HOKEMA made an astonishing development to give Kalimbas a much more powerful sound.
The Sansula is an oval wooden frame covered with usually a drum skin and in the middle where the beautiful Kalimbas is mounted.
The Sansula Deluxe comes with a robust membrane of goatskin instead of a usual drum skin and and adjustable tension screws.
This resonates with the membrane to the tones of the Kalimba.
The Homeka Sansula Deluxe has a basic 9 tine Kalimba mounted in the middle.
This Sansula is suited for children due to the stronger membrane of goatskin. Perfect for musical session in the kindergarten or early musical education.
It comes with 9 precisely tuned tines in A-Minor which you can of course retune.
